Full Stack Software Development | Focus on Java

Hard working, personable, challenge seeker who thrives with learning and adapting new skills. Known for bringing maximum benefit to clients and business while maintaining likability.

Hoping to apply my knowledge with software development and personal relationships to a great company.

I have embraced difficult situations as opportunities to grow with

  • Approaching graduation at WCCI coding bootcamp to learn full stack software development in 14 weeks.
  • A challenging career as a physical therapist assistant in healthcare with personalized patient care and constant use of online medical insurance.
  • Entrepreneurial efforts and relationship building in 8+ years of stand up comedy( throughout Covid19 difficulties).
  • Leadership throughout 16 years of competitive hockey including assistant captain of 5 teams

Many of the career positions have had a focus on expertise in specified skills and the ability to work with others as a team. Fast learner and avid seeker of opportunity. I would love to hear how I could make a difference at your company. After WCCI boot camp I will be looking to provide as much value as possible as an entry level programmer.

Virtual Pet

Virtual Pet was a project done in 3 iterations, including a solo pet, a pet shelter, then a shelter of real and robotic animals. Explaining it to other people was always the fun part. The coding was challenging as it was my first big endeavor with using Java for OOP, abstract classes, designing tests, running a working application, and allowing a user to interact with an array list. Within a couple weeks I became comfortable with instantiating variables, creating methods, creating characterstics in abstract classes, and calling upon methods and classes from concrete and abstract pages to make a working application.

Streaming Site Review

Streaming Sites Review was our first group project. It was a great way to work with others strengths and weaknesses. I established the GitHub properties, mapped out what our project should look like, added elements to the HTML and CSS, and coordinated the KanBan. During the second through fifth sprints we worked together to create a working MVC using Thymeleaf in IntelliJ through a mob coding apporach with the Agile Method.
